- itSMF USA – A chapter of itSMF International, it is the independent professional organization and forum for IT Service Management professionals in the US. A not-for-profit organization, both the US and international organizations are prominent players in the on-going development and promotion of IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, standards and qualifications.
- HDI – The professional association and certification body for the technical service and support industry. Facilitating collaboration and networking, HDI hosts acclaimed conferences and events, produces renowned publications and research, and certifies and trains thousands of professionals each year.
- Pink Elephant – A key contributor to the ITIL Framework that provides various IT Service Management (ITSM) services, including PinkVERIFY, their internationally recognized ITSM tool suite assessment service, which many software providers have leveraged to demonstrate how well their products meet ITIL Framework requirements.
- IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) – This Wikipedia site does a great job explaining the high-level concepts of the framework and is a worthwhile read for anyone seeking to understand the ITIL approach to ITSM best practices.
